Completed a project... Went back to check one section and my progress reset

Is that a bug or a feature? I had every square completed, wanted to take a look at an earlier section, redid that square and then I lost all of the progress following it…

Welcome there,

Changes have been recently made to the curriculum in order to better serve the needs of the freeCodeCamp community.

The lessons and project steps which have been added or substantively changed will not be marked as “completed”, which can impact your reported course completion percentage. This will not impact claimed certificates. If you have already completed a project, then you are not required to complete the new steps. Any lessons which are not part of a certification project are always optional.

Only the 5 certification projects count towards the certificate.

How will I know if the project has been deemed “completed”? I do not see any sort of mark or indication, so I fear I must start over…

I did the first project, all steps, but one box was left blank for some reason and I must’ve missed it, so I went back to review it and complete it and the rest of my steps were erased…

only the five certification projecsts are needed to claim the certification, the new steps will not affect that

Thanks… It’s alright… I quickly redid the project because there was no checkmark next to it even though I did 70/71 steps, and had to go back to fix one… It seemed to mess something up.
