Does freeCodeCamp have a current API?

I’m looking for a freeCodeCamp api, but all I’ve found is this which, at the top of the page, says it is deprecated. Is there a current API? Or is the deprecated one still usable (and safe to use)?

EDIT: I also found this heroku hosted non-live API, which seems to indicate that there is not currently a live API.
Is this correct? Is there any way of accessing freeCodeCamp student data other than scraping student profile pages (ugly!)?

Any help greatly appreciated!

An open API is on our development roadmap, which currently looks like this:

  1. ship the beta.freecodecamp.org platform
  2. address technical debt and improve performance of the platform
  3. create an open API
