Don't understand how to use cdn with vs code

Just started my first project “Tribute Page”.

It says that I could either use code-pen or any other integrated development env.

I like using VS Code.

I just don’t get how importing the link works (CDN) and I don’t get how to run tests on VS Code the same way that it is on Code Pen

open the pen provided with the test suite, copy the script tag present there
open your VScode editor, paste the script just before your closing body tag
