I see the FCC forum works live (i.e., I can see someone replying to a thread while they’re typing). So how do they do it? What things are we using here?
freecodecamp is using for the forum an open source software called “discourse”
So I checked out there page and they list Dynamic notifications in their feature list but don’t explain how to they do it even a bit. I pretty sure ws are not used here. Any clue?
Because jumping in their repository doesn’t seems to be a good idea to me.
I have no idea, you can try asking in their support forum. Discourse is open source so you can browse their repository if that is what you want
