To, All senior developers

Hi, I am S P Pramodh,

Very excited to learn coding from freecodecamp, as part of the challenges I have created a tribute page of my favorite motivational speaker. Please visit the page and tell me what you feel. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums @pramodh.sp. Your page looks good. Some things to revisit;

  • Run your HTML code through the W3C validator.
    • There are HTML coding errors you should be aware of and address.
    • Since copy/paste from codepen you can ignore the first warning and first two errors.
  • Codepen provides validators for HTML, CSS and JS. Click on the down arrow in the upper right of each section and then click on the respective ‘Analyze’ link.
    • The one for CSS is good. Use it, there’s something to clean up.
    • (The one for HTML misses things which is why I recommend W3C)
  • Review the lesson about giving meaningful text to links.
    • Web Accessibility in Mind has a more thorough explanation.
    • Accessibility is about being accessible to all users
    • “know more” is not accessible

Thank you Roma.

I will run through the w3c validator and css analyzer in codepen.

I will go through the accessibility lesson once again and the correct the link text.

I appreciate your support and will only come back to you, if I don’t find the solution elsewhere.
