Are there any caveats I should know about before I take the exam? I have been studying for it and I think I’ll pass but I’m also planning on adding the cert to my portfolio to help me find work.
If I fail, is there a limited amount of times before I retake it? I intend to pass with 100% so are you also able to retake it after passing if you want to try for a better score?
I am gonna take the test tomorrow, but its kind of a big deal to me so I want to check to see if there is a limited number of times you can retake it.
To be honest, there are some questions that are not covered by the ’ Foundational C# with Microsoft’ course, and it some questions seem to refer still to the older way of using C# (which is not covered in the course).
What I find annoying was that there is no feedback on which questions you got wrong, so no way knowing what to read up on (or maybe even contest as I thought some questions were not really clear on what they actually meant (well, it might sound solid in their heads, but that doesn’t mean someone else might interpret it the same) .
PS. I got 75 correct out of 80 (and I have a big feeling some of the questions I answered incorrectly are about the old way of using C#)
Yeah. I also noticed some of these issues, though, I am new at c# and only started learning it a couple months ago by making something with godot.
I took the test twice and I passed both times. My second score was 85% which I am content with, but I would have tried for 100% were it not for the obvious flaws with the exam.
