Github pages for tribute page not loading correctly

If you visit my codepen page here https://codepen.io/Benmuiruri/pen/vMVoxX you can see the html I have so far and how the page is loading.

However if you visit my github page at https://benmuiruri.github.io/Wangari-Maathai-Tribute/ you get an almost blank page.

I have checked that the source to my GitHub Pages site is currently being built from the master branch so I cannot figure out what’s up.

Any help will be appreciated.

In the settings of the project you need to switch the “source” to “gh-pages”.

Did you select a theme for your page? It looks like you did and that might be overriding your styles.

Hi @codywilliamson I think you might be on to something. How do I unchoose a theme?

I din’t really choose a theme. I selected to see what lies in the themes.
