Gitpod initial push for main branch failing

I’ve been trying to figure this out for awhile but I keep running into issues when starting up a new project in gitpod. I’m trying to start the Build a Periodic Table Database. I’m following Gitpod guide exactly as it states: How to Use Gitpod in the Curriculum.
What is happening is once I get to the process to do a git push it fails every time.

I’ve tried to follow the other suggested steps to just do the git remote part but then when I try to just create a test file and push the changes to my repo, same issue happens.

I’m at a lost because I can’t continue this project now.

I don’t have an answer.

But will mention that I get 212 objects with this project when I do the initial push. Not sure why you only have 15.
