What happened to logging in with a user and a password? Having to log into email all of the time is annoying.

Your login will persist in your browser until you clear it. So you log in once with an emailed code and then you’ll stay logged in.
Yes, this passwordless login is a pain… especially for me, the email comes in 10-15 minutes later (web host doing virus scans/spam check or whatever). By the time I get the email, I’ve probably closed the tab already… rinse, repeat whole cycle again.
I just end up signing in using my linked Github account.
Are there any plans to re-introduce password logins? As detailed above and below its inconvenient, counter-intuitive and in my mind of no real benefit.
