I applaud you for your efforts.

But a few things:

  • Structure your content (center it, put boxes next to each other, etc.)
  • Remove text-decoration from links
  • Make good use of colors (colors give emotion, what emotion you want the user to feel)
  • Be consistent with your design (button design, fonts, etc.)
  • Display hierarchy (importance of content)
