Hey everyone. Help is needed in step 41

Please I need guidance on how to use the :not(:last-of-type) pseudo-class to select all but the last element. Super confused :weary:

   **Your code so far**

Challenge: Step 41

Link to the challenge:

You have to create a separate rule for :not(:last-of-type), giving it fieldset in the front

yep!!! that’s it, the space might not let pass your code :laughing:

Sadly, it didn’t work.

have you created separate rule ? and deleted it from fieldset type selector ?

Yes. I did create a separate rule and I also deleted it from the fieldset type selector. This is how i did it.

fieldset:not(:last-of-type);

you have not given it property, have you ?

I think i haven’t. I don’t also know where to nest this solid #3b3b4f .

you have to create border-bottom property with value of these three values separated by a space, like this 3px solid #3b3b4f

I am stuck again with the ‘:not(;last-of-type)’ I can only wonder how to fix this. I need help please

fieldset{
  border bottom: 3px solid #3b3b4f;
  fieldset: not(:last-of-type);
}

fieldset is already in fieldset: not(:last-of-type) so replace first fieldset with this line, there should be only the property in curly brackets

Thanks a million @ghulamshabirbaloch . You came through for me again. I always take down notes so that I will know how to write codes similar to this as I proceed.
