You just need to separate the HTML elements and the comment code
the right code should be:

" Comments in HTML starts with <!-- , and ends with a -->" What is in between there is a comment. If you remove those then it is not a comment (uncommented). It looks like you also added stuff to your code that shouldn’t be there.
