How long does it take to get the certification

i just wanted to know how long did it take for you to claim the certification

It takes as long as it takes.

If you mean all of the certs, some people work their asses off and do it in 3 months. Some people take years. I came in with a little coding knowledge, worked on it part-time and did them all in 4.5 months (but this was before Python was added). It is really impossible to predict. But keep in mind:

  1. The hours estimates for each cert are very inflated.
  2. The certs get more difficult as you go a long.

The most important thing is to learn and build things. The certs are just pieces of paper for you to feel good about what you’ve accomplished. I’m not trying to diminish that - I was proud of my certs - but the knowledge and experience were far more important.
