I have used the invitation link to join the freeCodeCamp’s Official Discord Server. But I could not claim my account due to password error. How to solve this issue? Do I need to use my discord password here ?
You should use the Discord password, FCC is just a server there.

Actually I get the message when I go to fCC official discord server. So I think (if I am not wrong!) this issue is not with my discord.
So, I reproduced the issue and surely, I ran into the same problem.
When you try joining a server without first logging in the error occurs, but if you log in to Discord first and then join a server, the error does not occur.
If you forgot your discord password, you can use the forgot password button option then follow the steps to set a new password.
This should solve your problem.
