why doesn’t my CSS show in my codepen? It works in my own code editor but not in codepen. I am building a city based off what I have learned in the "colored markers " project.
What do you mean? Your css shows what it can. Its showing the background color, and thats all it can show right now. Your css has several classes, but you have no classes in your html yet that match the classes you have in your css. Which is why only the background shows

the ciass selectors in the css should be also in the html
Check to see if you linked the CSS file to your project’s HTML page properly. Make sure that the path is correct and that the editor saves it properly.
stupid mistake. I took the wrong html code from another project and put it in this one.
