I cant understand-Use the value attribute with Radio Buttons and Checkboxes

this douesn’t work because you have put the value attribute outside the opening tag (note that there is a > right below value

input attribute is a self-close attribute, so all the variables have to be inside it.
otherwise what comes between the two labels will appear in your website

your code have to be like that:

       <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"value="indoor"> Indoor</label>
