On each one I feel like I know what to do, but then I get stuck half way to the solution and just can’t seem to figure it out unless I click “Get a Hint” and just scroll down to the answer. Is this normal for a beginner or do I just suck at problem solving?
Many of these are hard. They’re intended to be. It does sound like maybe you want to work on your methods for getting “unstuck”, so that you go to the “Get a Hint” less often. This may mean talking to people more, taking a break, switching to pen-and-paper, etc.
Overall, struggling is good. It’s the only way to learn.
