Iterate Through All an Array's Items Using For Loops not passing on freecodecamp

Tell us what’s happening:
i tried my code on brackets and it does satisfy all the test conditions but, i can’t pass the test here on freecodecamp…can anyone tell me what’s going on? i might be wrong somewhere.

Your code so far

function filteredArray(arr, elem) {
  let newArr = [];
  // change code below this line
for(let i=0; i<arr.length; i++){

for(let j=0; j<arr.length; j++){
    if(arr[i][j]==elem){
        arr[i].splice(j,1);

    }

}
    newArr.push(arr[i]);
}
  // change code above this line
  return newArr;
}

// change code here to test different cases:
console.log(filteredArray([[3, 2, 3], [1, 6, 3], [3, 13, 26], [19, 3, 9]], 3));

Your solution isn’t returning the correct values:

I’m sorry. My understanding of the question was wrong. I thought ‘elem’ should be removed from all the inner arrays and then they should be pushed into the new array.
Thank you for the response my friend.

Glad I could help a little. Happy coding!
