Java script assistance

i want an array with each child node of parent element but cant get it working

I’m having trouble understanding what you are trying to do here. Are you talking about using JS to create HTML elements off a parent node?

Then this might work - the HTML:

<ul id = "my-list">
</ul>

and for the JS:

for (var i = 1; i <= 10; i++) {
  document.getElementById('my-list').appendChild(document.createElement('li')).innerHTML = "List item #" + i;
}

That’s vanilla JS so JQuery might be a little easier, but it gets the job done.

If that’s not what you want then you’re going to have to be more specific. I would recommend showing us the code you have and tell us what you wish it was doing. The more specific the question, the better the answer you’ll get.
