Learn Accessibility by Building a Quiz - Step 32

Tell us what’s happening:
I am struggling to understand what is required. Here is what it says
" You should give the first input a value matching the label text content."

Your code so far

                  <label for="q1-a1" value="True">
                    <input type="radio" id="q1-a1" />True
                  </label>
                </li>```

You will need to take an additional step here so the code you wrote presents in an easy to read format.

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

```text
Replace these two sentences with your copied code.
Please leave the ``` line above and the ``` line below,
because they allow your code to properly format in the post.
I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').
I use backticks but they just don’t make my code readable, I don’t know the reason
try again
with the three back tics before and after your code, on a new reply,
just so you can better see how they work :).
It is asking you to do a few things.
This can make the question seem more complex.
It may need breaking up into smaller tasks:
  • give the label element text of ‘True’ or ‘False’
to add text (content) to a page, place it between the tags
<tag>example content</tag>
  • place the content after the input element
    within each label element
  • add a value attribute to the input element
    within each label element
  • use the labels’ text as the value of the value attribute
That’s more complicated cos I do get error message…
try to send your last code using the back tics in your reply.
this will help me see what part your having trouble with
<input type="radio" id="q1-a1" /><label for="q1-a1" value="True">True
                  </label>
                </li>
                <li>
                  <label for="q1-a2" value="False">
                    <input type="radio" id="q1-a2" />False
                  </label>
                </li>
              </ul>
            </fieldset>
          </div>
          <div class="question-block">
your first one has the input in the wrong place
the input should be inside the label
the rest are correct
<label for="q1-a1"><input type="radio" id="q1-a1" />True
                  </label>
                </li>
                <li>
                  <label for="q1-a2" value="False">
                    <input type="radio" id="q1-a2" />False
                  </label>
                </li>
              </ul>
Sorry, your code does not pass. Don’t give up.
Hint
You should give the first input a value matching the label text content.
I’m frustrated at the moment
if your starting to get frustrated, you might want to take a 20 min break.
It can be hard when we’ve been trying for too long.
learning to trouble shoot is apart of the process :confused:
sorry, my mistake,
your label has the value the input should have.
you need to move them to the correct element
I think I’ll wait for other replies. I need a break. I’ll code again tomorrow. My brain needs to cool off
The error tells you what is wrong with this part of the code. You added a value to your label, but thats not where it goes. You need to add a value attribute to the inputs that match the label text
