Your code so far

function attack() {
text.innerText = “The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.”;
text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + “.”;
health -= monsters[fighting].level;
monsterHealth -= weapons[currentWeapon].power;
weapons[currentWeapon].power += Math.floor(Math.random() * xp) + 1;

}

Hey @renukachaudhari84 welcome to the forum you have a duplicate here remove the first one

Happy coding

after removing the line but it still can’t work

Can you post your updated code

function attack() {

text.innerText = “The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.”;

text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + “.”;

health -= monsters[fighting].level;

weapons[currentWeapon].power += Math.floor(Math.random() * xp) + 1;

}

Now you need to assign this to the monsterHealth

Remove the += operator after power

i remove += operator but still not work

function attack() {

text.innerText = “The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.”;

text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + “.”;

health -= monsters[fighting].level;

weapons[currentWeapon].power Math.floor(Math.random() * xp) + 1;

}

Assign this to monsterHealth

i dont understand where to assign

i assign what u say but it gives error that is (You should add to the weapons[currentWeapon].power value.)

I cant just give you the code I can only explain and you fugure out what to do
This is how we assign,and in this case we use a compound assignment operator like so

variable -= value

So use this to assign this

To monster health variable

i also assign same as u assign
function attack() {

text.innerText = “The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.”;

text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + “.”;

health -= monsters[fighting].level;

monsterHealth -= weapons[currentWeapon].powerMath.floor(Math.random() * xp) + 1;

}
see

Yap now between power and Math.floor add a +

heyyy thanku so much it works finally thanks a lot

Always glad to help keep up the good work
