Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 165

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know what the problem with the code below is? I have played around with spacing, but it still doesn’t pass…

Instructions:

Step 165

After the while loop, set text.innerText to equal You picked [guess]. Here are the random numbers:. Replace guess with the player’s guess.

function pick(guess) {
  let numbers = [];
  while (numbers.length < 10) {
    numbers.push(Math.floor(Math.random() * 11));
    text.innerText = "You picked " + guess[guess.length-1] + ".. Here are the random numbers:"
  }

}

The challenge seed code and/or your solution exceeded the maximum length we can port over from the challenge.

You will need to take an additional step here so the code you wrote presents in an easy to read format.

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

Replace these two sentences with your copied code.
Please leave the ``` line above and the ``` line below,
because they allow your code to properly format in the post.

The variable guess is not an array here. It is a single value.

Happy learning. :slight_smile:
