Learn Basic String and Array Methods by Building a Music Player - Step 71

Tell us what’s happening:

I am being told the following after submitting my code:
You should add an onclick attribute as the first attribute of the delete button and pass in deleteSong(${song.id}) .

I did do that. The delete buttons in the preview work. I also have a local copy and the delete buttons work there too.

### Your code so far

<button onclick="deleteSong(${song.id})" class="playlist-song-delete" aria-label="Delete ${song.title}" >

I also tried, which works locally:

<button class="playlist-song-delete" aria-label="Delete ${song.title}" onclick="deleteSong(${song.id})" >

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

<button onclick="deleteSong(${song.id})" class="playlist-song-delete" aria-label="Delete ${song.title}" >

Test in this step is a bit strict, there’s a space at the end, within the <button (...) > tag, once it’s removed, test passes

That did it. Testing has been incredibly strict on spacing in this course. Just like this one, the message says nothing about spacing, leaving the user with the wrong idea and completely confused.

well , it says it should be first attribute, you can try putting it before class attribute in button element.
