Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 77

Link to the challenge:

Is this for step 77 or 78?

step 77 am stuck there

Step 77 is only asking you to add one repeating linear gradient, so I would start by getting rid of the second one and just concentrate on the one you are being asked to add.

I have tried that still is not working

You’ll need to show us your CSS so we can see what you tried. To display your code in here you need to wrap it in triple back ticks. On a line by itself type three back ticks. Then on the first line below the three back ticks paste in your code. Then below your code on a new line type three more back ticks. The back tick on my keyboard is in the upper left just above the Tab key and below the Esc key. You may also be able to use Ctrl+e to automatically give you the triple back ticks while you are typing in the this editor and the cursor is on a line by itself. Alternatively, with the cursor on a line by itself, you can use the </> button above the editor to add the triple back ticks.

.fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background: repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4)0%,
      var(--building-color4)10%,
      transparent 10%,
      transparent 15% ),

    repeating-linear-gradient(
      var(--building-color4) 0%,
       var(--building-color4)10%,
     var(--window-color4)10%,
     var(--window-color4)90%
     );
}

You don’t want two repeating-linear-gradients in there. The instructions are only asking you to add one.

can you kindly just type the code,i have tried all ,isnt working

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

above is the code you posted last.

This code shows 2 repeating gradients.

The first one is using a 90deg angle.
The second one is not.

In this exercise you do not need 2 repeating gradients.

You just need one.

Please click the reset button and add one repeating gradient only.
Just one please.

actually I have got it is just simple
.fb1c {
width: 100%;
height: 80%;
background: repeating-linear-gradient(
90deg,
var(–building-color4)0%10%,
transparent 10% 15% );
}
