Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 78

Link to the challenge:

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

You changed the original linear-gradient which you should not have done. The original gradient need to be

 background: repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4),
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      transparent 10%,
      transparent 15%
    )
}

I want to know why step 78 does not work Step 78

You can add multiple gradients to an element by separating them with a comma (,) like this:

gradient1(
  colors
),
gradient2(
  colors
);

Add a `repeating-linear-gradient` to `.fb1c` below the one that's there; use your `--building-color4` from `0%` to `10%` and `--window-color4` from `10%` and `90%`. This will fill in behind the gradient you added last.

As I said you changed the original gradient. You should not have changed it in anyway. You can reset the lesson to get the correct gradient back and the only add the gradient the challenges tells you. Or you can look at the code I provided for the original gradient and make the necessary changes

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

I want to know why step 78 does no work when I make the changes
#78

You can add multiple gradients to an element by separating them with a comma (,) like this:

gradient1(

gradient2(
  colors
);

Add a repeating-linear-gradient to .fb1c below the one that’s there; use your --building-color4 from 0% to 10% and --window-color4 from 10% and 90%. This will fill in behind th

the gradient you added last.

The gradient you have added does not match the instructions.

I added a repeating-linear-gradient as requested in the instructions. I understand that is necessary to give 2 colors :var(–building-color4) 0%
var(–building-color4) 10%
var(–window-color4) 10%
var(–window-color4) 90%
That’s what I understand is the problem, but it doesn’t work

I just found the solution to the problem. You have to remove 90 deg from a place
