Learn Form Validation by Building a Calorie Counter - Step 81

Hey @MaryGothic
Between your $ and remainingCalories add Math.abs

Then delete the second one below

Math.abs(${remainingCalories}) </span>
  `;

I am not sure that I understook

 output.innerHTML = `
  <span class="${surplusOrDeficit.toLowerCase()}">$Math.abs({})Calorie ${surplusOrDeficit}</span>

Remove the curly braces {} from the brackets and add remainingCalories then enclose Math.abs(remainingCalories inside curly braces {}
