Tell us what’s happening:
I’ve read all the posts I can find on this topic and tried every solution. I still get the same hint every time “Your anchor (a ) element should have an opening tag. Opening tags have this syntax: <elementName> .”

  **Your code so far**

<body>
  <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 14

Hi @lizzysmith ,

Your code here is fine :

But, you have changed code above the instructions that you weren’t supposed to :

So please restart the challenge, and only add the a tags around the img.
Do not change anything else.

Thanks!
That worked. I had removed it because one of my bajillion attempts said that I should only have one <a element. I mistakenly believed it was meaning to remove the one above.
Passed it now.
