Hi there and welcome to our community!

There is no target element in HTML. You should be adding a target attribute with the value _blank to your anchor element.

Attributes have the syntax attribute="value" and you can add multiple attributes to an element’s opening tag by separating them with a space.

the target="_blank" is attribute+value pair of <a> so should be included within <a>

it serves to open a link in a new browser tab and the specific link is defined in <a>
