Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

Hello!

The question in this lesson isn’t very clear, how do I turn an image into a link? I’v tried messing with the code by adding anchor element to the outside, as well as replacing <img src= ...> as <a href=...> Thank you for your time

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>See more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our gallery.</p>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

<!-- User Editable Region -->

    </main>
  </body>
</html>

you have to wrap it first, the <a would go on the line above <img and at the end it will be the clickable link, I’m not best at explaining but it should make sense when looking at it.

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.

yo thanks for this very helpful i forgot to forward slash after image break and before final anchor close pondered this for hours
