So the task is to create a new fieldset element within another . I get told to place the first directly underneath the intro one, then I am told it needs a closing tag, but i feel like where ever I place the tag i get told its not to be nestle within the first. I mean what the actual … ?

your new fieldset element should be after the closing tag of the previous fieldset element.
You’ve nested the new fieldset inside the old fieldset which is incorrect.

well the assignments parameters won’t let me operate outside of the excisting fieldset element

just click the reset button to restore the original code in the editor.
Then take your mouse and place it on the last line of the editor which should be a blank line.
Then start typing the new fieldset element there.
