Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 19

Link to the challenge:

This is not how you set HTML attributes.

I do understand but I was told to put email so the browser can recognize it is a email input.

Did you fix the bugs in how you added those attributes?

Compare with this valid HMTL attribute:

Yes it’s the same as you showed but still didn’t pass

So what’s your updated code where you have fixed the HTML attributes that were wrong?

This is what its saying : " You should give the third input element a type attribute of email .". I tried changing the space between the attribute but still no fix

You should give the third input element a type attribute of email .

You said that you fixed the incorrect HTML attributes that I pointed out

Please post your update code where you have fixed those HTML attributes.

  **<fieldset>**
** <label for="first-name">Enter Your First Name: <input id="first-name" type:"text" /></label>**
** <label for="last-name">Enter Your Last Name: <input id="last-name" type:"text" /></label>**
** <label for="email">Enter Your Email: <input type:"email" id="email"/> </label>**
** <label for="new-password">Create a New Password: <input id="new-password" type:"password" min-length="8" required /></label>**
** </fieldset>**

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

Can you describe how those 4 incorrect HTML attributes look different than this correct HTML attribute?

Thanks you so munch It helped me a lot! :grinning:
