Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 31

i need some guidance here please. it keeps telling me to put the new text immediately after the input element in the label . Here’s the original assessment
Add the text I accept the terms and conditions immediately after the input element in the newly added label. Then link the text terms and conditions to the following location:

https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/terms-of-service/

<a href=“freeCodeCamp's Terms of Service” I accept the terms and conditions

You didn’t add a closing tag for <a> tag
And you should not write input in the anchor tag. Write it outside Anchor Tag.

Hi @adeyemoadeleke100

In addition to and to clarify the advice of @Tarun30:

  1. place the opening anchor tag before the word terms, also add a closing angular bracket to the tag
  2. leave a single space between the input and anchor elements
  3. add a closing anchor tag after the word conditions

Hello Teller. thank you for your message
i am a bit confuse with the first directive please… am i erasing the attribute “for” and replacing with the anchor tag and its attribute if i am placing the anchor tag before the text term?? if yes does the anchor tag remain the same for the link :face_holding_back_tears:

Thanks for your response Tarun30… i did as you advise but i still can’t go through :face_holding_back_tears:

i did this but says i should add I accept the terms and conditions text to the label following the third fieldset.
i can’t figure out what i am doing wrong

Close the opening label tag.

For next time…
Use the following method to post code to the forum:

  1. On a separate line type three back ticks.
  2. On a separate line paste your code.
  3. On the last line type three back ticks. Here is a single back tick `
