Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 34

Tell us what’s happening:

Trying to use the select and option elements for the first time, but appears as though I’m missing something on the option element. Error code indicates “You should nest 5 option elements inside the select element”

thats brand new information, by the way thanks for the info

in “your age” input you forget to put the “<” in the last option closing tag
happy day.

Hi there! Incorrect closing tag

Thanks for the heads up guys. I seem to be missing something else. I’ve made the correction on the closing option tag but still getting the same error code. Here’s what I’ve come up with:

  <fieldset>
    <label>Upload a profile picture: <input type="file" /></label>
    <select>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
    </select>
    <label>Input your age (years): <input type="number" min="13" max="120" /></label>
    <select>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
      <option></option>
    </select>
  </fieldset>

Hi,
This step of the challenge wants you to add one select element with 5 options below the two label elements. you’ve added one select element below each. so remove one and it will work.
Hope this helps.

Yes, that worked. Thanks to you all for the help.
