Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 56

I have no idea why the code isn’t being accepted even though I copied the information in the hint provided. What am I missing?!

Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 56

Link to the challenge:

The first line is the selector
Delete the .submit as there is no class called submit and you already have a type selector on the first line

I have deleted but the code still doesn’t pass

What does the new code look like?

input[type=“submit”]

Can you post all the code?

Instructions on how to make the code readable in the forum below:

When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

input[type="submit"]

Hi there, please post all the code so I can help you.

Did you delete the code you wrote before?

Originally you had this:

And I told you that the .submit should be deleted as there is no class called submit, plus you already had the correct selector on the previous line.

But I guess you deleted all the following code?

Thank you SO MUCH !!!
