am not getting this, please i need help. adjust its width to never be below 300px that statement is getting me confuse.

What hint are you getting? That should point you in the right direction. If the hint says you should not change something, then you should probably not change that something :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, don’t add properties that you weren’t asked to add. The instructions say “Change the margin property”, they do not say "Remove the margin property and replace it with margin-top, margin-bottom, margin-left and margin-right.

it says i should not change the width property. Use the min-width property.

Exactly. Removing the width property is also considered changing the width property.

At this point, I would probably reset the step to get the original CSS back and then only do exactly what the instructions ask.

Hint: You should only add one new property, and then change the value of one existing property.
