Challenge: Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 62

Link to the challenge:

Hiya Sulaiman!

Did you have a question?

Yes, I have one. I am stuck in styling the a element with the link terms and conditions.
Please help me if you can.

To target a link in css you just need the a selector

you mean the a element should appear in css just like how it appears in html?

I mean the selector you are using is not correct.

How do you target an element in CSS? For eg, how to target the body element?

body{ type in your desired style}

Perfectly answered.

So then how would you target a link? (Anchor element)

That right there I wish I know how to pull off.
It’s my first time styling a element. Regardless, that shouldn’t be an excuse anyway.
Just give a head shot clue, I promise I’ll utilize it proper.

You already know it…
Remember how you answered me earlier and said that to target the body element you just write

body {

You probably also know how to target the paragraph element

p {

So now, if you know all this, how to write the anchor element selector?

To style an anchor element you just need to use the exact same selector type you’d use for other elements, like body, p, h1 etc., You just need to use

a {the desired styleing}

In your case

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.
