Learn Intermediate CSS by Building a Cat Painting - Step 8

Tell us what’s happening:
hello guys! i have no idea why I can not pass the part that says to add a linear-gradient! is so simple and I think I write it correctly but the web keep saying the first color is not right…

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <title>fCC Cat Painting</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="./styles.css">
</head>
<body>
    <main>
      <div class="cat-head"></div>
    </main>
</body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */
* {
  box-sizing: border-box;
}

body {
  background-color: #c9d2fc;
}

.cat-head {
  width: 205px;
  height: 180px;
  border: 1px solid #000;
  border-radius: 46%;

/* User Editable Region */

background: linear-gradient( #5e5e5e 85%, #45454f 100%);

/* User Editable Region */

}

It’s a bug in the tests. Get rid of the space between the opening parens and the color #5e5e5e and you will pass.

thank you so much it worked when i eliminate the space between the first color and the parent and also when i move down the second color… hahah madness!! but is done! thank you so much to take time to help me man!!!
