Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 49

Tell us what’s happening:

I am not exactly sure what to do. I have been stuck on this step for a day or so. I am unsure when to add “padRow” and where it should just read as call.

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow() {

}

// User Editable Region

padRow(); const call = "padRow"; padRow(call);

// User Editable Region

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
  rows.push(character.repeat(i + 1))
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Remove everything after padRow(); (which is the function call).
Now, all you need to do is prefix that with your variable declaration.

EXAMPLE:

const variable = myFunction();
