Learn localStorage by Building a Todo App - Step 22

Tell us what’s happening:

Maybe it’s because I don’t fully understand destructuring, but I’m not sure what this step is asking me to do. I’ve looked up destructuring on here and MDN and tried a few different things but nothing is working. Is it syntax? Maybe I’m overthinking it?

Your code so far

You wrote it correctly! But I think the tests don’t want this yet.

I must be missing something! I just tried submitting:

taskData.forEach(({ id, title, data, description }));

but that didn’t work either :confused:

omg. I wrote “data” instead of “date”. LOL

Why did you use two parenthesis ? Im assuming for the separate it as the first parameter?

Do you mean the parentheses around the parameter? From my understanding, the program will read the curly brackets as the body of the function unless it is nested within parentheses. So you need that second set of parentheses to say hang on this is just what’s being passed into the function, not the action itself.
