Learn Regular Expressions by Building a Password Generator - Step 72

Last step of the project. Code does not pass check.
I’m adding:
if name == ‘main’:
main()
just as the prompt says too.
I also tried:
def main():
new_password = generate_password()
print(‘Generated password:’, new_password)
and then added the if name == ‘main’: main().
Worked in my jupyter notebook but not here.
Previous projects ended just like this but I cannot seem to figure out what is missing/incorrect.

Thanks in advance!

Hello pcdude,

So your if statement is correct. But you are supposed to add the last 2 lines that were already there in the if statement body, not a main() call.

You should put the last two lines of code inside the if statement. You don’t have a main function here.

Thank you both for your help.
