Learn String Manipulation by Building a Cipher - Step 38

Tell us what’s happening:

Even though I have the correct indentation under the if statement print(‘Space!’) as you can see in the code below, it still shows an error message: You should print space! inside your if statement.

What’s the issue?

Your code so far

/* User Editable Region */

text = 'Hello World'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'
encrypted_text = ''

for char in text.lower():
    if char == ' ':
        print('Space!')
    index = alphabet.find(char)
    new_index = index + shift
    encrypted_text += alphabet[new_index]
    print('char:', char, 'encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

/* User Editable Region */

it says you need to put space! inside the print statement, which is slighly different from what you wrote

Oh yeah, I used Capital S instead of lower s. Thanks for pointing out.
