Tell us what’s happening:
How to solve this code?, I try to use char valuable compare with space and print out but is error.
Your code so far
# User Editable Region
text = 'Hello World'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'
encrypted_text = ''
for char in text.lower():
char == ''
print (char == '')
index = alphabet.find(char)
new_index = index + shift
encrypted_text += alphabet[new_index]
print('char:', char, 'encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

Hi. You were asked to do the comparison inside the print log. No need for the first line you added.
Have a look at the instructions - you have missed something in your print comparison:
comparing char with a space (' ')
Have you done a space?
I already do as you suggest but is error
text = 'Hello World'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'
encrypted_text = ''
for char in lower.alphabet()
print (char == ' ')
index = alphabet.find(char)
new_index = index + shift
encrypted_text += alphabet[new_index]
print('char:', char, 'encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

those spaces is not the same as one space
I’ve edited your post to improve the readability of the code. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>
) to add backticks around text.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').
