i think i have everything setup correctly but it tells me i need to “You should use the def keyword to declare a new function.” I already did that

Hello @amitozpunjab
Be mindful that Python is very particular about indentation. Look at it and see if you think that the def block should be indented.

I removed the indent but it still is broken with thew same message
