Hi, I’m happliy done with the last step and my first project is completed.
That said, I just followed the instructions, which were pretty easy to do so, with little understanding of the code itself. I tried to keep up with it but turned out to be too complicated for me, an intermidiate Python learner. Is this Cipher function supposed to be understood or is this course just for learning basics? Sorry if my English is a bit awkward as it’s not my native language. Thank you.
as you built it step by step, even if guided, it would be ideal if you understood how it works.
Please ask any doubts you have about it, the forum is here for that
Thank you so much, Sir. I’ll make sure that I will try to go as far as I can get in each step with a help of warm-hearted people out here. As for this project, I understand how it functions much better now as I carefully reviewed it.
It is up to you to do more research on anything you don’t understand. If there’s something you’re not clear about search for the answer and learn it. You can ask here as well.
Up front there will be a lot of side-research but eventually you will likely have less and less questions.
Even if you just go through the lessons with a more surface level understanding (not eveyone has time for endless side-study), it might be the first time you encounter a concept so it’s ok if you don’t get it 100%. You will encounter it again later in your study and learn a bit more, again and again.
Thank you so much, pkdvalis. I’d be stuck at some point if I’m only satisfied with that surface level understanding every time, but also I’d probably throw everything away if I’m desperate to get 100% comprehension out of it. So, I want to make it well balanced in time, eventually. I truly appreciate that there are someone like you out there over this display, even if you are far away beyond the ocean. With your help, I can make a step.
