wrt to attached image from Instagram sign up page, am wondering why is the link opening in new tab as there is target attribute used inside <a> tag.
if there is no target attribute it can be a default browser behaviour

I thought there is a way to control it through script somehow
or maybe that, true
trying to analize a website behaviour from the inspector will not always reveal everything that is going on
