Looking for Feedback: Tribute Page

Hello,

I am hoping to get some feedback on my Tribute Page project. This was one of my first projects that I made responsiveness the main goal. Everything seems to resize nicely across Edge, Firefox, and Chrome using the WebDev tools (F12). I don’t have access to a Mac, so I’m not sure about Safari. Any feedback would greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to critique my work.

Kenneth

Hello! Welcome to the forum  overall your page looks really good, one thing I could think of that could be improved is the space for the text in the time-line, I’m looking at your page on my phone and the text looks a little bit squashed in:

If it had more space I think it could look better, but other than that you did a really good job, it passes all the tests and the responsiveness works very well, keep up the good work

It looks really nice. I like the attention to detail and everything links up okay. The only thing I might change is the background color because it matches the photo so much the page looks kinda washed out and it can make things hard to read. Overall, great job!

Welcome to the forums @Kennyc33. Your page looks good. One thing to revisit;

Hello ricardo.furbina,

This is a really good point that you bring up. I have adjusted the padding and line height and I think the text does look much better now.

Thank you for the feedback,

Kenneth

This is what the text now looks like on my Google Pixel 3a.

Hello MMiles,

I agree, the whole color scheme seemed a bit too drab. I have changed both the body and main element background colors from hexadecimal to HSL. I have also changed the lightness values to allow these colors to appear brighter. I think this has helped considerably with contrast.

Thank you for the feedback,

Kenneth

Hello Roma,

Per your direction I have revisited the module on giving meaningful text to links and have read the WebAIM article on Links and Hypertext. I have also updated my hyperlinks to include underline styling and to include the focus pseudo class, both of these changes should increase accessibility.

Do you have any further insight as to how I can ensure that I am able to maximize accessibility for my page?

Please advise,

Kenneth
