To wrap (or to nest) in a main tag means to put them between an opening <main> and closing </main> tag.

<main>
  <p>...</p>
  <p>...</p>
</main>

i knew it was a dumb question thanks!

i tried in the way you have written.but its not working.can you please help me out.
how to wrap two p elements as children in main tag.
thank you

Could you post your code?

<html>
<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<p>purr jump eat the grass</p>
<p>kitty ipsum dollar sit amet</p>
</html>
<!-- i didnot wrote all the ipsum text in p element-->

You should be having an opening <main> tag between the h2 tag and the first p tag and then a closing </main> tag after the second p tag
