**This is where I am having problems. The instructions are to change the background-color property to background. I've done exactly as I was instructed; however, when my code is checked, it is said to have an error. This problem is also in Step 49.  Please help 🙏**

Challenge: Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers – Step 60

Use a browser other than Safari. You will be much happier. There are some known issues with Safari and FCC, especially when it comes to colors.
