My sticky nav bar is all jacked

Here is my personal portfolio project in codepen:

Everything looks as I was hoping, albeit basic. But I cannot figure out why my sticky nav bar includes the giant header, and how come all other elements run over the top of it interfering with usability. Anyone have some advice or hints to put me on the right track to fixing this?

I’d take a look at the CSS Z-Index Property. That might help you.

I dont see that anything is running over top the nav. Did you fix this issue already?

I did, pardon the delay in acknowledging AwesomeIndustry’s help, it worked perfectly. Thanks everyone. I think getting the title part of the header will be moving the element to omit the header, will just take some reworking.
