Need a little push with my padding/layout on my tribute!

I found a great picture of the person I’m doing the page for but it’s very narrow so I wanted to have the text on the side either floating or simply by adding it in a different column. I’ve tried a couple of things but can’t quite get it right.
Any help would be appreciated :wink:

Phil

Adding ‘float: left’ or ‘float: right’ to the image style should allow text to wrap around the pic.

Also when posting a link use markdown to display the link and not run your pen in a window.

First of all, you have some overlapping tags. Everything that appears on the screen should be inside the body tags.

You could get what you’re talking about like this?

<body>
  <div class="container-fluid" id="content">
    <div class="jumbotron">
      <div class="row">
        <h1 class="text-center">Carl Sagan</h1>
        <h2 class="text-center">Billions and billons</h2>
      </div>
      <div class="row">
        <div class="col-xs-4">
          <img src="http://news.nationalgeographic.com/content/dam/news/photos/000/776/77679.jpg" width="400" alt="Carl Sagan in front of modern architecture.">
        </div>
        <div class="col-xs-8">
          <ul>
            <li>Carl - Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc blandit mauris lorem, eget tincidunt est aliquet non. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Etiam sit amet nulla non nisi interdum ultrices a eget felis. Aliquam erat volutpat. Integer sodales porta nisl a convallis.</li>
            <li>Carl - Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc blandit mauris lorem, eget tincidunt est aliquet non. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Etiam sit amet nulla non nisi interdum ultrices a eget felis. Aliquam erat volutpat. Integer sodales porta nisl a convallis.</li>
          </ul>
        </div>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</body>

Great, thank you both.
